At Maranatha, we are actively involved in many different kinds of ministries, both locally and abroad. Some of them include the following:

 

 

 

Monetary donations to numerous mission organizations

         Some include: Harbor Evangelism, Heartbeat international, IBMA, Smith                  County Baptist Association, Smith County Gideons, Southern Baptist                             Convention Board, etc...

 

Honduras Baptist Dental Mission (HBDM) - https://www.medicaldental.org/

 

        MBC sends a small group of people, as a part of a larger team, for one                               week every summer to Honduras to help spread the Gospel and tell                                     others about Jesus.

Wild Game Supper

​

        MBC host an event that include a wide variety of wild game, fellowship,                       and will have guest speaker. It usually occurs in the spring time of the                           year.

       Host a special deer hunt for people with special needs and banquet                                   afterwards for the family, friends, and congregation.

Wednesday night meal delivery

 

      MBC delivers between 20 and 30 meals to people unable to get out in the                       community every Wednesday evening before our regularly scheduled                             service. Meals are also served to the congregation every Wednesday                                 evening.

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

​

        MBC host a Vacation Bible School every year, soon after school is                                       dismissed for the year.
